Sadaqah - Voluntary Charity
Sadaqah is a voluntary act of charity given purely out of compassion, love, friendship, or generosity. Unlike Zakat which is obligatory, Sadaqah is given freely with no expectation of return.
What is Sadaqah?
Sadaqah (صدقة) is an Arabic term that means "voluntary charity" or "righteousness." It refers to any act of giving out of compassion, love, friendship, or generosity without expecting anything in return.
